Cortney Jane Meier is the fugitive of the week. The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force is looking for Meier, who is wanted by Lake County authorities for burglary. Meier, 21, is 5 feet 6 and weighs 110 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. She has a tattoo “Love.” Meier was last seen in the area of the 1200 block of 177th Place, Hammond. Anyone with information on Meier’s whereabouts – or that of any known fugitive – may contact task force investigators at 1-888-805-6119 toll-free or by texting “capture” to Tip411 (847411).
