GARY — A 30-year-old Gary man left work a week ago Monday and has not been seen since.
Police suspect foul play in the disappearance of Chezevon Jones, who was last seen outside a clothing store where he worked in the 1300 block of Broadway about 8:30 p.m. July 2.
Two men left with Jones in his cream 2002 Cadillac, surveillance video from the strip mall shows.
At the time Jones did not appear to be under any duress, investigators said.
His car was found during the weekend at 2nd Avenue and Rutledge Street near the Grand Calumet River. The car had been burned.
Detective Lorenzo Davis has been attempting to track Jones’ whereabouts after he left his job at The Hook Up last Monday.
Jones has not yet been located and police are hoping for new leads to help them locate him.
Anyone with information can call Davis at 881-4738.
