GARY — An Ambridge man was found shot to death Wednesday night at his home.
Anthony Osborne, 22, of 2836 W. 6th Ave., had last been seen at midnight, 20 hours earlier, police said.
He and his roommates had been victims of a home invasion about a week ago. Investigators are trying to determine how the two incidents are related.
Police found no forced entry into the home Osborne shared with roommates, leading investigators to believe his killer is someone he knows.
A relative found Osborne’s body on the floor in the bedroom shortly after 8 p.m.
His car was not parked in the neighborhood. Investigators declined to speculate on the status of his vehicle.
Osborne’s uncle is a Gary police officer.
Anyone with information on the homicide can call Detective Lorenzo Davis at 881-4738.
