Scott Porta is the fugitive of the week. The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force is looking for Porta, who was charged Sept. 28 in Lake superior Court with failure to register as a violent sexual predator. Porta, 44, is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. His last known address is in the 2400 block of Ridgewood Street, Highland. Anyone with information on Porta’s whereabouts – of that of any known fugitive – may contact task force investigators by calling toll-free 1 (888) 805-6119 or by texting “capture” to Tip411 (847411).
