INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Early voting has begun in Indiana more than four weeks before Election Day.
Some counties opened election offices Monday for voters to cast absentee ballots in person. The availability varies from county to county, so interested voters should check with their local election officers. In some counties, ballots can be cast on Saturdays.
Early voting ends at noon on Monday, Nov. 5, the day before Election Day.
Marion County Clerk Beth White tells The Indianapolis Star that about 300 people had cast early ballots at her office by noon Monday.
Tuesday is the deadline to register to vote in Indiana. Voters can register at their county clerk’s office, Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches or at https://indianavoters.in.gov.
