How to Vote

Polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday for the election. Polling places are least crowded from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone in line when polls close at 6 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Voters unsure of their polling places may call the state’s voter hotline, 1-866-461-8683, or go to www.indianavoters.com, for more information. Call the hotline to report fraudulent activities or accessibility issues.

Voters must bring a picture ID.

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, during which time branches will only process new, amended or replacement ID cards, and renewed, amended or replacement driver’s licenses, learner permits and commercial driver’s licenses. Other than disability placards, the branches will not perform any other BMV services. All license branches will resume regular business hours on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
