Marshals looking for Gary man accused of murder

Garrick Jerome Troupe is the fugitive of the week.

The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force is looking for Troupe, who was charged Nov. 13 in Lake Superior Court with murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery and battery with a deadly weapon in a Nov. 8 homicide.

Troupe, 46, is 6 feet tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Troupe’s last known address is in the 3100 block of West 19th Place, Gary.

Anyone with information Troupe’s whereabouts or that of any known fugitive may contact task force investigators by calling (888) 805-6119 or by texting “capture” to Tip411 (847411). All tipsters will remain anonymous.
