VALPARAISO — Wayne Han, 35, of Valparaiso, reportedly admitted to holding a gun to a 13-year-old girl’s head in an attempt to get her to perform sexual acts.
Han is being held at the Porter County Jail, and official charges — two counts of Class A felony attempted child molestation — will be signed Monday, according to a press release by Sergeant Michael Grennes, public information officer for the Valparaiso Police Department.
The incident allegedly happened Friday morning at a Valparaiso home. The victim told two friends of the crime, and they told a counselor at their middle school later that day.
Child Protective Services also was involved in the investigation.
