Gary man shot to death

A Gary man was shot to death late Monday night, according to the Lake County Coroner’s office. Richard G. Taylor, 25, was pronounced dead at 10:53 p.m. near where he was shot, at 913 Aetna St. The office has ruled his death a homicide. No other information was available Tuesday.
