INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Seven hairstylists who took part in an office lottery pool say a co-worker at an Indianapolis salon cheated them out of their share of a $9.5 million jackpot.
Christina Shaw says the winning ticket in the Feb. 16 Hoosier Lotto drawing was one she bought separately for herself, not one of the tickets she purchased for the group.
The seven other hairstylists at Lou’s Creative Styles in Indianapolis have asked a Marion County judge to freeze the payout until the dispute is settled.
A court hearing on the motion was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
