Gary woman admits in court documents to selling children for sex

A Gary woman is admitting she sold a baby and young child to a local man for sex and allowed him to film the act.

Natisha Hillard, 24, faces a mandatory minimum of 30 years in prison and maximum of life in prison in exchange for pleading guilty to one count of selling a child for child pornography and two counts of allowing a child to take part in child pornography, according to documents filed in U.S. District Court in Hammond.

Hillard and her co-defendant, Christopher M. Bour, 39, also of Gary, were arrested in March after an acquaintance of Bour’s told the FBI he had asked her several times if she wanted to record him sexually touching a child, investigators said.

An agent posing as the acquaintance texted Bour, who repeated the request, according to investigators. When agents searched his house, they discovered videos of him with a child, who appears to have been 6 to 9 months old. Someone’s hands could be seen holding the child, and federal attorneys say that person was Hillard.

Prosecutors charged her again last summer saying she had also sold another child, 3 to 5 years old, to Bour for sex. Bour has pleaded not guilty in the case.

A change of plea hearing for Hillard had not been set as of Monday evening.
