LAKE STATION -- A semitrailer rollover Wednesday blocked a ramp to the Indiana Toll Road for two hours.
According to a press release from the Indiana State Police, a 2005 Freightliner driven by Reymundo C. Ramirez, 47 of Alsip, Ill., took the ramp from Interstate 80 eastbound to the Indiana Toll Road too fast, which caused his trailer carrying a rail container loaded with 35,000 pounds of pine wood to shift and roll over.
Ramirez was not hurt and no load was lost in the 12:20 p.m. accident.
The ramp was closed until approximately 2:24 p.m. to upright the rig, police said.
