Updated: August 11, 2014 3:22PM

Lake Superior Court Judge Clarence Murray on Monday sentenced a man who admitted he failed to register as a sex offender to six months in the Lake County Jail.

Kenneth Marconi, 31, of Gary was convicted of sexual misconduct with a minor in a 2006 Lake County case, admitted that in July 2012 he had registered on the Lake County Sheriff’s Sex and Violent Offender Registry with an address in the 500 block of East Clark Street in Crown Point but wasn’t living there.

Marconi’s plea agreement, which was filed July 28, outlined the six-month sentence in the Lake County Jail.

Prosecutors dismissed two counts of failure to register as a sex or violent officer and other felony counts and agreed not to file a habitual offender enhancement.
