An Illinois man has been charged with robbing a Chase Bank branch Tuesday morning in Munster.
Kenneth A. Culver, 38, of Steger, faces one count of robbery, according to a statement from Munster police.
Culver allegedly robbed the bank at 545 Ridge Road about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to police. He passed a note to the teller and left with an unknown amount of cash.
He drove away in a dark four-door vehicle, heading west on Ridge Road toward Lansing, police said.
Culver was arrested in Illinois, and is being held there, police said.
