Hatcher sisters start law firm

GARY — Former city councilwoman and mayoral hopeful Ragen Hatcher and her two younger sisters have started their own law firm.
The Hatcher Consulting Group focuses on real estate and government law and business consulting, she said.
“I’ve kind of been waiting on them,” Ragen Hatcher said of her sisters, Rachelle Hatcher, who graduated from DePaul University and Renee Hatcher who graduated from New York University in May.
Ragen Hatcher received her law degree from Valparaiso University in 2003. She was attorney for the Gary Community School Corp. for five years. “I’ve been in public life for awhile and I look forward to private life,” she said.
Hatcher ran for mayor last year and lost in the primary to Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson.
