Latin students excel at competition

The Crown Point Latin Club Certamen teams celebrated the end of Indiana Latin Week by competing at the Hoosier Certamen Invitational at Herron High School in Indianapolis on Saturday, Jan. 28. Five schools from around the state brought 17 teams to compete in the Jeopardy-style competition. In the novice division, Crown Point’s team of Morgan Fisk (above, from left), captain Anna Werkowski, Nathan Hovanec and Josh Mazur brought home the first place trophy. | Photos provided
