Hanover crowns homecoming queen, king at double-header

CEDAR LAKE — Meghan Varner and Kyle Reppa were named Hanover Central High School homecoming queen and king at the Dec. 6 basketball double-header against Hebron.
Hanover won both the boys and the girls games.
Varner is a senior and has been active in Student Council, Show Choir, National Honor Society, theater and track. She enjoys singing, playing violin and piano and writing music and poetry. She is the daughter of Jeannine and Marc Varner.
Reppa, senior class president, is involved in Student Council and DECA, which he serves as treasurer. He plays guitar, sings and writes music. He is the son of Denene and Paul Reppa.
