The Towle Theater in Hammond is no stranger to the demands put on local educators and students.
To reach out and show appreciation to educators and students, the Towle is implementing some new ticket programs this season.
Friday night performances at the Towle Theater will be Educator Appreciation Nights. Every educator will receive a buy-one-get-one-free ticket to attend a show. Reservations are required and a valid school ID must be presented at the box office.
To further help educators relax from a long week of working at school, the Towle has partnered with Aquavor Nightclub to offer the educator and a guest a pass for free entry to Aquavor, located one block from the theater, after the show.
Students looking for something to do on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night can save money and see some great theater. An hour before each performance, students can buy Student Rush Tickets.
At least 10 buy-one-get-one-free tickets will be reserved just for students one hour prior to each Thursday, Friday and Saturday performance. A valid student ID is required to receive the discount.
The Towle is also offering special ticket deals to people working in the entertainment industry on Thursday nights. Anyone who works in theater and brings a headshot, résumé or playbill with his or her name in it will receive a buy-one-get-one-free ticket. Reservations are required.
These Industry Nights will be on March 8, May 10, July 19 and Sept. 20.
Call the theater at 937-8780 for more information about these programs.
