The parish festival is being held this weekend on the St. John the Evangelist Parish School grounds, 9400 Wicker Ave., St. John.

‘Larry Cat in Space’
The family planetarium program for children of all ages is being presented at the Merrillville Community Planetarium at Pierce Middle School, 199 E. 70th Ave. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children.

Old Car Show
The fifth annual Old Car Show is being held at the LaPorte County Historical Museum, 2405 Indiana Ave., this weekend. Admission is $5 per carload and includes admittance to the car show and the museum.
