Corn roast
The Highland Rotary Club’s annual corn roast is being held at Main Square Park, 3001 Ridge Road, Highland. Tickets are $8 at the gate.

Rockin’ for Renee
Rockin for Renee “The Fearless Festival” is being held at the Aquatorium in Marquette Park, Gary, with food, coffee bar, beach activities, live music and more. Admission is $15 per person. Proceeds benefit The People’s Burn Foundation, Indianapolis, in the name of 19-year-old Renee Ohrn who died in a fire at Indiana University in 2011.

Dancin’ in the streets

Leprechaun hunt
Find the leprechaun worth $1,500 during the Leprechaun Hunt at Sharing Meadows, 6617 N. County Road 300E, LaPorte. Gates open at 11 a.m., with hayrides, moonwalk, fishing, boating, Admission is $50 for adults, $35 for senior citizens and free for children up to age 13 with a parent or grandparent.

Murder mystery
