Lights Festival
The Peanuts Gang and Disney characters kick off the 21st annual Magnificent Mile Lights Festival in Pioneer Court, 401 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago. The grand finale includes a tree-lighting and a parade at 5:30 p.m. led by grand marshals Mickey and Minnie Mouse down Michigan from Oak to Wacker. Skating season
The ice skating rink at Millennium Park opens at noon Nov. 16 at Michigan between Washington and Madison in Chicago. It remains open, weather permitting, through mid-March. Admission is free.
