Dickover sent overseas

Air Force Tech. Sgt. Scott E. Dickover has deployed overseas to a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Dickover is a helicopter flightline expediter assigned to the 723rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Dickover has served in the military for 14 years.

Dickover is the son of Robert and Patricia L. Dickover, of Crete. He is a 1997 graduate of Bloom Trail High School in Chicago Heights.

Soto completes
training

Air Force Airman Jose A. Soto graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Soto is the son of Vera Soto, of Calumet City.

Young graduates basic training

Air Force Airman Bridgette K. Young graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Young is the daughter of Melanie McCormick, of Cedar Lake, and the granddaughter Marilyn Young, of Park Forest. She is a 2011 graduate of Crete-Monee High School.

Hilson completes basic training

Navy Seaman Recruit Javius J. Hilson recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.

Hilson is the son of Lacosta Butcher, of Dolton. He is a 2011 graduate of Thornridge High School in South Holland.
