The Crown Point Community Theatre has released the cast list for its production of “Beautiful Bodies,” which will run Feb. 8-17.
Directed by KeriAnne Valukis, “Beautiful Bodies” is a tale about women’s friendships and life choices. Although the title of the play might suggest a focus on the physicality of women’s bodies and the ever-present question of what is beautiful, the play focuses on the dynamics of female relationships.
When six women in their 30s gather on a stormy winter night at a New York apartment to celebrate the pregnancy of one of their friends, they’re expecting an evening of wine, fun and gossip. Their true feelings surface in all their wonderful, funny, endearing and heart-wrenching glory. In the end, they all find out a little more about one another than they had bargained for.
The cast includes Jena Bellezza, Mandy Dietrich, Caitlyn Desjardins, Rebecca Fortner, Kerry Fitch and Jen Williams.
