James and Lillian Edmond of Gary recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at The Buffet at Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, Mich.
Their children are Toni Jones of Upper Marlboro, Md., Janice (Stanley) Baldwin of Indianapolis, Gregory (Barbara) Edmond of Indianapolis, Cornelia Denise Edmond of Chesterton, Angela (Stephen) Currie of Merrillville, and the late Mark T. Edmond.
They have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The honorees were married April 16, 1952, in Sardis, Miss.
Mr. Edmond retired from Inland Steel after 34 years of service. Mrs. Edmond works with Catholic Charities in the foster grandparent program.
