Raymond and Terri Hansen of Francesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Shanna Kay Hansen, to Matthew Ryan Powell, son of Greg and Julie Powell of Valparaiso.
The bride-to-be is a bridal consultant at Chiffon in Lafayette.
The prospective bridegroom is the manager of Cinnabon, also in Lafayette.
They plan a September wedding at Four Points by Sheraton in West Lafayette.
