Garlins reach 65th

Ester Mae Cochran and John Allen Garlin Sr. celebrated their 65th anniversary in Gary.
Their children are: Milton Joseph Garlin (Monica) of Westminster, Colo.; Ellen Kay Garlin of Atlanta; and John Allen Garlin Jr., Cheryl Lynn Garlin Calliway King and Deniese Lucille Garlin, all of Gary.
They have 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The honorees were married Feb. 15, 1948, in Gary, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hill.
Mr. Garlin retired from Youngstown Steel. Mrs. Garlin retired from Oak Forest Hospital.
