Gary police seek volunteers for reserve corps

GARY--The Gary Police Civil Service Commission has applications available for anyone interested in becoming a member of the volunteer reserve force.

Applications are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at the security desk at the entrance of the Public Safety Facility, 555 Polk St. The applications will be issued through Wednesday, Feb. 29.

The commission will accept completed applications on two days only, from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 15 and again Feb. 29.
