More than 3,000 pills in man’s home

An Aetna man arrested at his home has been charged with five felonies after police searched his home and seized more than 3,300 prescription pills and almost $3,000 in cash.

Oscar Hines, 62, of 1127 Decatur St., allegedly sold Vicodin to an undercover agent four times since the Gary police Narcotics-Vice Unit began its investigation.

Detectives executed a search warrant July 19 and found Vicodin, Oxycontin, morphine, fentynal and Xanax in a bag at Hines’ house.
