Chicago man dies in car accident near Horseshoe Casino

A Chicago man died early Tuesday following a car accident near an Indiana casino.
Francis Zambrella, 85, was involved in a crash at 777 Casino Drive in Hammond, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
The Horseshoe Casino is listed at that address, according to the casino’s website.
Zambrella, of the 10000 block of South Avenue G, died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 2:17 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
Hammond police were not immediately available for comment.
