BLOOMINGTON, — The parents of an Indiana University student who’s been missing for more than two months have released a new “missing” poster of her and a new letter online in which they plead for information about her.
The poster shows 20-year-old Lauren Spierer smiling and wearing her blond hair down and sunglasses perched atop her head. In the letter Rob and Charlene Spierer of Greenburgh, N.Y., write that with the start of the new school year, they “hope and pray” that more information about their daughter’s disappearance will be forthcoming.
They say the silence about their daughter’s disappearance is “deafening.”
She was last seen early June 3 walking alone to her Bloomington apartment after a night out with friends.
