LaPorte man charged with child solicitation

LAPORTE — A LaPorte man was arrested Friday afternoon for having an online relationship with a 14-year-old girl in Florida.
Indiana State Police arrested Christopher Albin, 23, without incident at his residence at 808 Virginia Ave. on a charge of child solicitation, a Class C felony.
The arrest, headed by Indiana State Police Detective Jennifer Richmond of the Crimes Against Children unit, resulted from a joint investigation with Citrus County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
Albin was incarcerated at LaPorte County Jail.
