Marshals seek Gary man for gun violation

Dirk Eugene Pruitt is the fugitive of the week.
The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force is looking for Pruitt, who was charged in October in Lake Superior Court with illegal possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon and resisting law enforcement. Pruitt last was seen in the area of the 900 block of Ellsworth Place, Gary.
Pruitt, 40, is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Anyone with information may call task force investigators at 1-(888)-805-6119. Callers are kept anonymous.
