Water rate hike hearing Thursday in Lake Station

LAKE STATION — Residents have a chance to voice concerns about a proposed 28 percent hike in water bills at a 7 p.m. public hearing Thursday at City Hall, 1969 Central Ave.
City officials said the city’s aging water system needs improvements and they would like to build a new treatment plant.
