Stolen car found abandoned in lot
A car reported stolen in Chicago was found by police at about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 500 block of Sturdy Road. Residents told police the gray 2009 Toyota Corolla had been sitting there for one or two months.
Police find drugs in car after crash
Rachel Vance, 25, of Walkerton, was arrested at about 4 p.m. Tuesday as police investigated a two-vehicle crash at Roosevelt Road and Baron Court. As officers impounded Vance’s vehicle because she did not have insurance, they reportedly found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
