HOBART — Police released surveillance photographs from a strong-arm robbery that occurred Sunday afternoon outside Target on U.S. 30.

The 66-year-old victim told police she was leaving the store about 4:49 p.m. and was walking to her car and noticed a young couple following her.

The man ran toward her and grabbed her purse and the two struggled for control, police said. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Police say the suspects fled in a dark pickup, possibly a General Motors crew or quad model.

Suspects are both white in their late teens or early 20s. The man wore a “Lucky” T-shirt, blue jeans, a baseball cap, gym shoes and white sunglasses.

The female wore a dark sweatshirt with writing on it and capri-style blue jeans.

Anyone with details bout the identity of the suspects can call Detective Jeremy Ogden at 942-1125, Ext. 1074.
