EC man killed in motorcycle crash

A Hammond man died Wednesday evening after he was involved in a motorcycle accident, according to a release from the Lake County Coroner’s office.
Alexander Soto, 21, of the 1500 block of Truman Street, was pronounced dead at 5:21 p.m., according to the office.
The crash took place at Kosciusko Boulevard and Walsh Avenue in East Chicago. It is unclear when the accident occurred. He was taken to St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago.
