Gary Firefighter Thaddeus Brown led police officers, public officials and others in prayer Tuesday on the steps of Gary City Hall and Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson was on hand to watch the posting of colors. The event marked the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the country.
