The trial of a Latin Kings member accused of racketeering and murder continued Wednesday with testimony that he did not take part in a Griffith double homicide in 2007.
Jose Zambrano, who has already pleaded guilty in the case, said that defendant Martin Anaya was not part of the planning for killing of rival Latin Dragon members Jim Walsh and Gonzalo Diaz outside the former Sopranos restaurant in February 2007.
Zambrano also testified he did not see Anaya shoot Christina Campos in April 2009 and that Anaya and other Latin Kings members told him they never fired any shots.
Federal attorneys claim the gang members got in a fight with rival gang members and that Anaya shot Campos as she hid between two cars.
