Updated: October 30, 2012 6:10AM

A scheduling issue has postponed testimony in the murder trial of a Hobart man charged with killing his ex-girlfriend’s 3-year-old son.

A representative of the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office was unable to appear on Friday to testify in the trial of Levi Edward Hiatt, 28, who is charged with murder and neglect of a dependent in the death of Comer Watkins V.

Testimony is expected to resume on Tuesday.
