Anthony Joel Balderas is the fugitive of the week. The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force is looking for Balderas, who was charged in Lake Superior court on Oct. 19 with failure to register as a sexual offender. Balderas, 34, is 5 feet 10 and weighs 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. His last known address is in the 600 block of Conkey Street, Hammond. Anyone with information on Balderas’ whereabouts – or that of any known fugitive – may contact task force investigators by calling 1 (888) 805-6119 or by texting “capture” to Tip411 (847411).
