Man admits selling stolen tools
Lake Superior Court Clarence Murray sentenced a Hobart man to six months in jail for receiving stolen property.
Phillip J. Galindo, 31, admitted he sold a jigsaw, leaf blower and chain saw from a June 18, 2012, barn burglary in LaPorte to Cash Indiana pawn shop in Lake Station on July 13.
Galindo will retain a permanent felony on his record. He has 35 more days to serve in custody before he is released.
The charge is punishable by six months to three years.
