GARY — Three gunmen robbed Shark’s Fish and Chicken, 511 Vermont St., about 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

A 32-year-old employee told police he was working at the restaurant when three black men dressed in all black, carrying black and chrome handguns, entered the store.

Two men jumped over the counter and pointed guns at the worker’s head and threatened to hurt him if he didn’t cooperate. A third man stood at the door while the others took an unknown amount of cash from the register.

They all ran from business.

Detective Cpl. Edward Gonzalez is investigating the robbery.

Anyone within information may call him at 881-4750.
