LC Judge Bonaventura to head DCS

Lake County Juvenile Judge Mary Beth Bonaventura has been picked to head Indiana Department of Child Services, according to Gov. Mike Pence’s office.
Bonaventura could not be reached for comment Wednesday afternoon.
Bonaventura has served as a judge since 1993 and helped open Lake County’s Juvenile Justice Complex in Crown Point.
