TCF Bank in Dyer robbed

DYER — A man robbed the TCF Bank branch inside the Jewel food store Tuesday morning, according to the FBI.
The robber was described as black, between 30 and 40, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches, and wearing a dark coat. No weapon was shown in the robbery.
The store is located at 805 Joliet St.
So far this year there have been at least 27 bank robberies in the Chicago metropolitan area, according to the FBI. In 2012 there were 218.
