The Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission is hosting four public meetings over the next two weeks to engage residents in its regional planning and decision-making processes.

NIRPC is a regional council of local governments serving Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties.
The upcoming meetings are: Monday — 4 to 6:30 p.m., Michigan City Hall, 100 E. Michigan Blvd.; Wednesday — 4 to 6:30 p.m., Valparaiso City Hall, 166 Lincolnway; April 2 — 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., Hammond Public Library, 564 State St.
