Women from work release program to stage performance

CROWN POINT — Women participating in the Lake County police female work release program will perform skits, mime and music and more at a program from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at the Lake County Kimbrough Center in the positive impact room.

An area church and work release staff members will also perform during the program, described as “An Evening of Inspiration and Entertainment,” police spokesperson Patti Van Til said.

The event is free and refreshments will be served.

The Kimbrough Center is located at 2600 W. 93rd Ave.
