City officials, dignitaries and family members dedicated a new bridge Friday at Gary/Chicago International Airport and named it in honor of World War II Tuskegee Airman and Gary icon Quentin P. Smith. The opening of the bridge is seen as a vital step in the airport’s $166 million expansion.
