Updated: May 19, 2013 7:56PM

A 14-year-old Gary boy crashed a car into house on Friday afternoon.

Around 12:56 p.m., police responded to a home in the 2100 block of Williams Street. David Kelly, 18, told Cpl. Richard Pratt that he was teaching the teen how to drive when he drove the white Chevy into the residence. Two elderly females live the house; they were checked out by medics and appeared to be fine.

Kelly was arrested, and he faces charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He also was cited for a traffic infraction.
