A Gary woman accused of selling two young children for sex pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning to two new charges of producing child pornography.
The man who federal attorneys say paid for the children, Christopher M. Bour, 39, of Gary, also pleaded not guilty in the U.S. District Court in Hammond.
Bour and Natisha Hillard, 24, were first arrested earlier this year after an acquaintance of Bour reported to police he asked her if she wanted to watch and record him sexually touching a child, according to court filings. She also claimed that she had earlier seen Bour watch child pornography.
When the FBI searched his house, they discovered pornographic pictures of him and a baby who looked to be about 6 to 9 months old. A woman who can be seen holding the baby in the pictures was identified as Hillard, who Bour said he met through an online dating site.
The new charges claim that Hillard also sold an older child, about 3 to 5 years old, to Bour.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrew Rodovich did not set a trial date for the case. Both Hillard and Bour are being held without bond.
