Three face marijuana charges

SCHERERVILLE — Three men face marijuana-related charges after police action last week, according to the Schererville Police Department.
Justin Adam Nystrom, 25, of Hammond, was charged with possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; Robert Michael Niksich III, 25, of Gary, was charged with possession of paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor. Both men were interception by East Chicago’s STOPS Team, and both have warrants issued through Schererville Town Court.
The third man, Peter Joseph Tinsley, 18, of Schererville, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia during a traffic stop on U.S. 41 just south of U.S. 30. He is also currently wanted on a warrant through the Schererville Town Court.
